Yanase Honkamamoto
Established 350 years ago, YANASE HONKAMAMOTO Kiln of Koishiwara ware (located in Kyushu) is one of the most prestigious kilns in the village. The kiln specializes in the distinctive techniques of Koishiwara ware, such as "tobikanna" (decorative cutting) and "kushime" (comb patterns), as well as carrying on the classic glazing colors, they tastefully blend traditional methods with contemporary styles. The collection is utilitarian, colorful yet earthy, fun and brightens up any food palette that is being served.
A collection of Yanase Honkamamoto wares such as bowls, cups, and dishes are available. A minimum order is required. We also work with chefs, hoteliers, etc. on hospitality projects. Contact us for details.
